• Distribution: Funds are held in our central charity account and distributed to specific projects as advertised. If a specific campaign is oversubscribed or cannot proceed due to unforeseen circumstances, WWMMT reserves the right to reallocate those funds to our general fund to support similar charitable objectives.

• Refund Policy: Donations to charities are generally non-refundable. However, if an error was made by WWMMT or a duplicate transaction occurred, please contact us within 14 days. Refunds are granted at the sole discretion of the Trustees.

• Transaction Fees: Please note that third-party processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) may deduct a small percentage as a transaction fee before the funds reach us.

3. Transparency

We believe in total accountability. WWMMT provides annual reports and regular updates on how donated funds are utilized. We strive to ensure that the maximum possible percentage of every donation goes directly toward our frontline charitable activities, minimizing administrative overhead where possible.

All content on this website—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software—is the property of WWMMT or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

8. Governance of the World Wars Muslim Memorial Trust

The eight principles set out in the NVVO’s Charity Governance Code (2025 edition) guide the trustees in the organisation and conduct of the Trust’s activities. In addition to their observance of the Code, the trustees take all reasonable steps to ensure that no donation to the Trust derives from any money-laundering activity of whatever nature. They are also alert to the danger of activities that may amount to modern slavery and, to that end, take all reasonable steps to ensure that no activity undertaken by or on behalf of the Trust and no benefit received by it derives from any work or service that has been provided by any person as a result of human trafficking or forced or bonded labour as those expressions are commonly understood.
